Kaolin is a type of clay found in nature. It is sometimes used to make medicine; it is also used as a filler in tablets.
Kaolin is used to stop bleeding and for a condition involving swelling and mouth sores (oral mucositis). It is also used for diarrhea and many other conditions.
This naturally occurring clay has been used in foods, cosmetics, and other materials for many years. Based on widespread usage and extensive toxicity studies, kaolin is considered safe for humans and the environment.
The practice of ingesting clay is even noted in the ancient world; several writers noted the phenomenon of geophagia. Pliny is said to have noted the ingestion of soil on Lemnos, an island of Greece, and the use of the soils from this island was noted until the 14th century.
There's evidence that our ancestors ate dirt at least 2 million years ago when Homo sapiens were still Homo habilis.
All things should be practiced in moderation. Salt is a crystalline mineral ingested by humans in moderation. Kaolinite, also called kaolin, is a white clay mineral and should be consumed in moderation. You should drink plenty of water if you enjoy any clay.

I prefer to store my clay in doubled-up brown paper bags and dry my clay naturally in a un-perfumed hot car.
However, if I'm in a hurry, I double two paper bags, placing another over the top and creating a popcorn bag-like pouch in the microwave for 3-6 minutes intervals until it is dried to my satisfaction. When heated rapidly, it expands, and the pouch keeps it from exploding all over the microwave.
The clay is dug deep in the earth, but the heat also offers sterilization. Whether you dry it in a conventional oven or microwave, please be careful not to burn the clay.
Before shipping, It is permanently stored outside to maintain the taste that nature makes.
However, after I have dried it, if I am not using it, I prefer to keep it in glass mason jars because it is a porous clay that may soak up odors and tastes from the environment where you store it. If you use perfumes and aerosols in your home, a good practice is to keep your clay in glass jars; this is just a suggestion.
